fucking dodgy ghana internet cafes
Whats up! Today is saturday evening and it is a lovely night. Friday spent the rest of the afternoon around the school. Caught a little parade going down the main street which was pretty random. It was like a celebration parade for one of the schools birthdays. There was like singing and drumming and each group wearing a different uniform and doing something different. Highlights were a group of boys doing pelvic thrusts and a taxi with two little kids dressed as a king and queen waving to the crowd complete with crowns and sashes. hahah At about 3.30 Anita, Danika and I headed for Kokrobite. Got shown to a room we had booked which was lovely. A little wooden cottage type thing with a loft. Went for a really lovely swim. Got back and the other guys came later and we had an awesome dinner and a chat. Went down to Big Millys and watched a bit of drumming but were all pretty tired so came home for bed. Ended up chatting till about midnight anyway and attempted to go to sleep although there was some crazy screaming church session going literally all night with tamborines and a microphone- thats ghana for you. It sounds like they are doing some sort of satanic sacrifice when that shit goes on seriously. Anyway this morning we woke up and had awesome breakfast and headed to the beach again. Had a full entourage of african naked kids rolling around in the sand with us which was a bit of entertainment. Anyway I am going to stop writing now because I am pissed off and worried because Ive just realised someone has changed my email password! ahhh if you get emails from me which are weird please comment here and let me know. I will try and get my sister to fix it up back home but at the moment Im screwed...no good.

i think u will have a really awesome time if u travel around a bit too and see the rest of Ghana. Its really good that u are able to help out those kids even if its just a little bit - every bit counts u know. I wont email u then if u cant read it so i will try and see if i can send this. Shud be getting the comp back soon. Missing u muchly.

Yeah, as i said before get some travel in it will be good to see everything else. I am so glad ur having a good time as well. Everyone who i have met has commented on ur blogs and how lovely u write them. Everyone says u shud write a book too (which u shud totally do). I met christine on the train the other day when dj and the gang were going in for his bday (greg didnt come for some odd reason and genna had her wisdom teeth out) and we were chatting about u. And i was like, i was thinkin that when u left i wud be a hermit, curled up in my room with nothing to do and nowhere to go, i thought i wud be a lonley loser. But it actually hasnt been too bad. I have so much to tell u but i dont want to put it on this comment thing for public eyes. I went to some religious talk on my religion (zorastrianism) by this lady. Mum dragged me to it. It was good in some parts but preechy in others which i hate but she said something really good which i thoght u might like. Heaven and hell arent places but rather 'states of mind for the spirit' if u leave this earth having done everything ur spirit has beckoned u to do (nice things i am sure) thats heaven, and when the spirit faces regret for not doing or for doning things they knew werent right that is hell. I really liked that. She said it in a little more detail but that is the brunt of it. I suppose if we dont follow our hearts and listen to those little voices in our intuition our spirit faces a kind of hell. I can tell u one thing, by listening to ur heart and spirit u have gone on this awesome trip and had an awesome time. See u in heaven chickadee. Going to see another travel agent today. Zeena used to work at a travel agent so we are seeing if she can do us a better deal - even tho we already have a good deal i suppose it doesnt hurt. Then finally we can book this damn thing. I am so excited. Organised my uni shit too. I will only be there 2 days a week max. which will be good so i can work and save the dough.
